Turkish Automaker Togg Introduces Electric Fastback Sedan as a “Connected Smart Device”
Turkish automaker Togg has taken the stage at CES to reveal its latest creation, the T10F electric fastback sedan. Positioned as more than just a car, Togg describes the T10F as a “connected smart device,” emphasizing its integration of advanced technologies.
The exterior design showcases a sleek and modern aesthetic, featuring a fully enclosed grille with chrome accents resembling tulip petals. The front end is adorned with slender LED headlights, boomerang-shaped daytime running lights, and a distinctive central intake. Digital side mirrors, flush door handles, and a contrasting black roof contribute to the sedan’s contemporary appearance.
Inside, the T10F boasts a tech-laden cabin with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an expansive 29-inch widescreen infotainment system. Complementing these displays is an 8-inch lower screen, likely focused on climate controls and phone contacts. Togg highlights the T10F as the brand’s first vehicle to offer a heated steering wheel, further enhancing the comfort and luxury aspects of the interior.
In terms of performance, the entry-level T10F features a rear-mounted motor producing 215 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, propelling the sedan from 0-62 mph in 7.2 seconds. For those seeking more power and traction, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant is available, boasting 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque and accelerating from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds.
Togg anticipates an impressive WLTP range of 373 miles (600 km) with the long-range battery, featuring an 88.5 kWh capacity. The standard 52.4 kWh battery is estimated to offer a range of 217 miles (350 km). Notably, Togg claims a rapid charging capability, with a 180 kW DC fast charger taking the battery from 20-80% in just 28 minutes.
The T10F is slated for a launch in Turkey next year before expanding its availability to the European market. With its blend of cutting-edge design and smart connectivity features, the T10F aims to make a notable impact in the electric sedan segment.
