Limited to 11 Units, Japanese Exclusive DBX Boasts Formula 1-inspired Styling and Performance
Aston Martin has introduced a highly exclusive model for the Japanese market, unveiling the DBX 707 Japan Midnight Podium Edition. Limited to just 11 units, this special edition DBX boasts a distinctive exterior and interior design, drawing inspiration from Aston Martin’s 2023 Formula 1 car.
The Japan Midnight Podium Edition showcases a striking Oberon black paint scheme complemented by lime green accents, reminiscent of the iconic colors seen on Aston Martin’s F1 car. The SUV rides on massive 23-inch satin wheels featuring Aston Martin Racing Lime Green brake calipers, adding to its sporty and distinctive appearance.
Inside the cabin, the exclusivity continues with a combination of plush black and dark green leather adorning the seats, dashboard, center console, transmission tunnel, door panels, and steering wheel. Lime green contrast stitching adds a touch of vibrancy throughout the interior, emphasizing the luxury and performance-oriented nature of the limited edition model. Special carbon fiber accents on the center console and custom plaques on the carbon scuff plates, labeled ‘Japan Midnight Podium Edition,’ further elevate the interior ambiance.
The name ‘Midnight’ in the edition’s title pays homage to the late-night driving culture in Japan, while ‘Podium’ commemorates Aston Martin’s notable podium finishes during the 2023 Formula 1 season.
Underneath the hood, the DBX 707 packs a potent punch with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering an impressive 697 horsepower and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. This marks a substantial increase from the standard DBX’s power figures, showcasing the high-performance nature of the limited edition SUV.
With only 11 units available, the Aston Martin DBX 707 Japan Midnight Podium Edition stands as a rare and coveted offering, blending luxury, exclusivity, and Formula 1-inspired aesthetics for discerning Japanese automotive enthusiasts.
