Upgraded ADAS, Electrified Powertrains, and Enhanced Safety Features Define the EU-Spec Compass
Cutting-Edge Driver Assistance for the 2024 Jeep Compass
Jeep’s second-generation Compass, in production since 2016, continues to evolve with the latest technology updates. The 2024 EU-spec Compass is poised to receive a boost in its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), expanding its semi-autonomous driving capabilities. Exclusive to the European market, this SUV is now available solely with electrified powertrains, including the e-Hybrid and the robust 4Xe PHEV.
Unchanged Aesthetics, Upgraded Interiors, and Level 2 Autonomous Driving
While the 2024 Jeep Compass maintains its familiar exterior, carrying over the facelifted design from 2021, significant improvements lie beneath the surface. The interior boasts a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. What sets the 2024 model apart is the enhanced ADAS package, featuring Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities on all types of roads, a notable upgrade from the previous highway limitation. Additional refinements include new Class A+ tires (18-inch and 19-inch) for improved efficiency and connectivity services.
Safety Features, Powertrain Options, and Future Outlook
With a commitment to safety, the 2024 Jeep Compass offers over 80 security features, including Drowsy Driver Detection, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, and Pedestrian/Cyclist Automatic Emergency Braking. The lineup, streamlined for 2024, introduces four trims – Altitude, Summit, Overland, and Trailhawk. Electrified powertrains take center stage, with the Compass e-Hybrid and the flagship Compass 4Xe PHEV, available in two power outputs. The model lineup reflects Jeep’s dedication to an electrified future, with the third-generation Compass set to debut in 2025 on the STLA Medium architecture, featuring fully electric and hybrid powertrain options.
