In 2024, Fiat intends to open an apartment building called Fiat House in Fort Lee, New Jersey, coinciding with the U.S. launch of the all-electric 500e.

The location was strategically chosen for its proximity to New York City and its accessibility via major highways. Fiat House will offer over 300 residences, some of which will come fully furnished with a design inspired by the Fiat 500’s distinctive style and efficient use of space. Residents can choose between studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments.

In addition to the apartments, Fiat House will provide a range of amenities and social spaces aimed at fostering a sense of community. The complex will operate an on-site car-sharing service using an all-electric fleet of Fiat 500e vehicles.

While there are no interior photos available yet, more information about the project is expected to be released in early 2024. Fiat is partnering with UNLMTD Real Estate for this venture. Fiat CEO Olivier Francois expressed excitement about the project, which aligns with Fiat’s values of sustainable mobility and forward-looking living, and will coincide with the launch of the new Fiat 500e for North America.

This move by Fiat follows the trend of automotive brands entering the real estate business to offer their customers distinctive living experiences.
