RM Sotheby’s is set to showcase a diverse and remarkable assortment of vehicles at its upcoming November auction in London. The auction features a unique mix of exotic automobiles that will appeal to car enthusiasts and collectors.
Among the collection’s highlights is a historically significant Ferrari Testarossa. This iconic 1980s Ferrari was assigned to Formula 1 legend Nigel Mansell during his debut season.
Another gem in the collection is the Jaguar XJ 220, a true rarity with only 282 ever produced. The XJ220 held the title of the world’s fastest car until the McLaren F1, and this particular example has clocked fewer than 100 miles.
The auction also includes a 1994 Ferrari 512 TR Spider, one of only three ever made. Distinguished by its unique blue exterior and dark blue interior, it is a one-of-a-kind car with only 354 miles on the odometer.
For those with more stately preferences, the auction offers a 1991 Bentley Turbo R Drophead Coupe, one of only two in existence, and a 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta with just 137 miles driven. Ferrari enthusiasts will find multiple Testarossas, 512s, 348s, Dinos, and more to bid on.
The surprises continue with a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, one of only 300 produced, featuring optional sport suspension and the NSL engine.
A rare 1952 Frazer Nash Targa Florio, one of just ten produced, known for its role in the 1953 12 Hours of Sebring, raced by Briggs Cunningham’s team. And to top it off, one of the only 25 UK-market right-hand-drive examples of the 1957 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT Coupé Series VI.
These exceptional automobiles will be auctioned on November 4, 2023, at Marlborough House in London during RM Sotheby’s auction. This unique opportunity allows car enthusiasts, collectors, and history aficionados to acquire automotive treasures steeped in history and exclusivity.
